American School Immersion Program

Our flagship program places international students inside real American private-school classrooms for 2–4 weeks during the school year.

About This Program

The American School Immersion Program is the core of Viewpoints Education. Rather than touring campuses, students experience what it is really like to be a student in an American school: morning classes, school lunch with American peers, afternoon electives, after-school clubs, and evenings with a homestay family.

Placements are matched to each student’s age and English level, and class participation follows the partner school’s own teaching arrangements. Before placement, students complete a short English assessment, and the receiving grade and class are decided together with the school based on the results — so students learn in a class they can genuinely follow, build confidence, and join in without disrupting the learning of local students.
